Please add the capability to export Report Server PowerBI reports to formats like pdf, word, powerpoint. Some of this functionality exists in the service but please add it to Report Server.

We'd hoped we'd have a good way to bring this functionality to the server - however, after a lengthy evaluation of all the options and required investments, we're not planning to bring this feature to the server at this time. As a workaround, we suggest using the Export to PDF capabilities in Power BI Desktop for Report Server.

Can you tell us when this feature will be enabled in On-Premise server? Otherwise every time user has to open the report in Desktop and export the data which would not serve the purpose of having server in place.

RE: Export Report Server Power BI report to PDF

Please, we need a reliable way to print from the service. I have so many users clamoring for this. They'd be happy with export to PowerPoint, but this doesn't hold the slicers for them, so it's rendered useless. Printing an entire report to a pdf would be great and so would exporting to PowerPoint that actually works!

RE: Export Report Server Power BI report to PDF

Yes this is a must, especially to ppt. The Service has the capability (preview) already. However in the service, when you export, the export doesn't retain the filters you set if it's different from the saved file. Export displays filters applied from the saved file not anything you change in the GUI. So that must be fixed in RS when deployed as well.

Our Sales and Client Services teams need the ability to export and adjust visuals for accordingly for presentations to clients and prospect.

RE: Export Report Server Power BI report to PDF

yea, this is really needed, really soon. We can build for PDF printing using the SSRS report builder for PBIRS, but the custom filtering in PBI Desktop created reports is far superior. So sometimes have two reports, - the PBI Desktop version and the SSRS variant (for PDF)

I can't understand any logic that in their latest update they have added this feature to the Desktop but it's not available in the Service - Crazy

RE: Export Report Server Power BI report to PDF

Can any new printing functionality take into consideration where there is a summary charts (Table, Matrix) that are displayed over more than one page (Scrolls down). Either a option to split data over more than one tab or to print more than is viewed, would be a fantastic update.
