Top n Filter should be allowed on multiple fields and/or against multiple facts. For example - show top 10 sales people and lowest 10 products (both facts should be true to be displayed). As of April 2017, only one top n filter is allowed, so I'm exporting data to Excel for reporting.
Also, wish Excel could use my .pbix file as a data source for the PowerPivot data model - then i could easily work with any of the data (including all the measures). Power BI is a fantastic tool, but still needs Excel at times.

RE: Top n filter
While your looking at top n please add a include rest of data as "others" option in the TOP n filter
RE: Top n filter
When using the Top/Bottom filter for a visual, allow the ability to group remaining items into All Other. For example if Top 10 is selected, remaining items ranked 11+ are grouped into an All Other category that the user can label.
RE: Top n filter
It would be great if the Top N functionality allowed you to optionally group remaining items into another category that could be labeled by the user e.g., All Other. This would give a better perspective of the Top N.
RE: Top n filter
Request you to add visual level filters for card to enable top n filtering.
RE: Top n filter
As I said in other ideas. This could be achived with a dynamic table layer so you could write a dax query with two columns one with the corresponding number 1, 2 ... 5, and other labels and a second column with values. And then drag thouse columns to any visual you want.
Being a dynamically calculated table your labels should respond to any filters you apply to that visual. This would enable any kind of dynamic grouping/binning you can define via a dax query.
RE: Top n filter
I fully agree with Roland. Surprising this does not have more votes yet.
RE: Top n filter
For example - this is to show top 5 countries by revenue on a visualization (i.e Bar Chart) and having a sixth bar showing other countries (not in top 5) to be grouped as "Others" while responding dynamically to filters.
RE: Top n filter
Dynamic Top N using Direct Query with BW
RE: Top n filter
I Agree. This would be allow also to improve performance: in tables, you could show the top 100 lines for example (using a top N filter on a measure) and keep the totals equal to the actual total, not just the top 100
RE: Top n filter
Currently, if I want to filter my entire report by the Top N items, I have to apply the Top N filter to each and every Visualization that I create in the report. I would like to be able to add a Top N filter to the Page or Report Level, then the affected Page or Report would only contain data from the items that were selected with the Top N filter.
