I am calling them global variables, because "Measures that can return tables" ... probably confuses too many issues. Say I have a custom calendar with exactly 52 weeks per year. Prior Year := FILTER(ALL(Calendar), Calendar[WeekNum] = MAX(Calendar[WeekNum] - 52)) ^^ Not valid today. If...
How many times have you dragged a field onto another field by mistake and have it create a hierarchy? It happens quite often. Usually I am trying to drag the field to the Visualization pane but fail to hold the mouse button. And lo and behold it creates a hierarchy. (Which I then have to delet...
Since it seems to depend on .net runtime only (at least more or less), why not port the gateway to linux? There are many customers who want to run linux only backends and are scared of having a windows machine running alongside their holy glory mission critical infrastructure...
The conditional formatting is a great edition, however it only works with summarized values which is a shame. It would be fantastic if conditional formatting can be applied to calculated columns, which in my opinion is more logical. For example when converting values into percentages.

The current paradigm for organising dashboards is not scalable; need to introduce the notion of 'pages' or 'sections' within a dashboard so that a 'dashboard package' can be created. While multiple dashboards can now be created and navigated from the top pane, this is a very simplistic approach....
I would like to have the ability to do a "compare tables" or "compare queries" option. I understand that there are visuals/queries I can build to compare the DATA within two separate queries but I want to compare the two queries. I want to know how many columns are in TableA versus how many ...
Greater control over the scale and division of axes. The MAJORITY of our data is frequency related where we have to display values in scientific notation from the range of 10-9 up to 10-2. Display of numbers greater than 1 creates automatic minor division on the y axis; but if below value of 1, ...
Add the ability to sign-in to an ArcGIS Online account to use organizational GIS. This would allow a seamless connection for Power BI users and existing ArcGIS Online accounts to bring reference maps and additional analytic capabilities forward into reports and dashboards created with Power BI.
